Need more Clarification in Verse

    if this verse is true then what does the division of the church really mean (catholic , protestant, etc.) need more clarificaion plz ,, i'm a coptic orthodox youth by the way ???


    look at the bolded part above: divided against itself

    the kingdom is divided put not against itself and our King is still Jesus Christ.

    The Church is not divided. There are those who have left the Church - Catholics, Protestants, etc. - but the Church by definition is undivided.

    Indeed, the Church is not divided. As St. Irenaeus wrote in Adversus Haereses  III, 24:

    Wherever the Church is, God's Spirit is too; and wherever God's Spirit is, there is the Church and every grace; for the Spirit is Truth.
