Why do boys or guys, the only ones who can be deacons?? i know, people say becasue adam was created first, but is that really true!!! is that really the answer!!??

Actually, from what I know; girls can be deacons too but before the age of 12... Once they hit the age 12 they no longer are allowed because of the whole period thing.

I've never heard that before, the deaconate is solely for boys/men, there are deaconess but they don't actually do anything liturgical. do you have a source for that
