i think you found it a bit hard to search for st. Augustine because his story is so much linked with his mother St. Monica..so u can do the search on that too.

I think he was converted from a Dualist pseudo-Christian religion by reading the Life of St. Antony by St. Athanasius. So you might want to consider that book too :)
