    lent is ALWAYS 55 days. no diffrence every year.

    Mina i think he means for 2009, in 2009 the Great lent starts Feb 23

    opps im so sorry guys i meant to ask about the fast for christmas i am so sorry how many days is the fast before christmas on january 7th and what day does it start i am so sorry for the mistake

    The fast is always 43 days and this year it starts in November, i don't know the exact date though

    As far as i know, it;s always the same every year, i.e. fixed date. according to what i remember it is the 25th november.
