Ok, so in the Gregorian Liturgy, first the Priest says Je Nai Nan then the congregation follows. Well I just saw this public video on facebook where Fr. Antonious's church says "Hosanna, King of Israel, Save us". Is this right?? I thought it was always "Have mercy upon us O God the Father, the pantocrator" on any occasion.

I'm not sure if this is part of the rite of Palm sunday but my priest does the same thing.
i say that to. it's not as a rite it's a part that many priests used to do. the closest person i know who does that is Abouna David Bebawy in George's and before him Fr. Antonius Ragheb.

I doubt it....i don't think its actually recorded as a rite. Some priests just do it because of the feast.

many priests do this on Palm Sunday. its normal. a priest in my church does it every palm sunday and I wait for it every year (Father Mikhail Tobia) and I heard many priests singing it.
