Hello all! As you obviously know, the Lenten season is once again very near, and as such there are a lot of special hymns that we as deacons must know. What I was wondering, and thought would be a good topic of discussion, was how each person learns hymns.
What I personally do is download the recording and divide it into several different files. Then I listen to each file separately and write the "hazzat" for it, then combine it all. However, lately, for more complex hymns this method hasn't been working for me, so I wanted to get some feedback on alternative methods.
Pray for me,
Michael Boutros

I did a program called Memorizing hymns Helper. You can download it from this link
http://www.alhan-youthbishopric.com/downloads/files/memorizinghymnshelper/memorizinghymnshelperv11.zip
This program is to cut, repeat edit and save any sections for any hymn you want to learn.
Please try it and show me if it is good or not. and if you need to modify or change any thing, just let me know.
Pray for me
