[quote author=deaconwannaB link=topic=7865.msg102105#msg102105 date=1240341424] So is it true were not allowed to listen to anything pascha during these happy 50 days? Ima miss 'em :'(
the word allowed is weird to use. You want, go head. you're not "sinning" It's just doesn't make since to do so on festive days. every year the Church lives with Christ on a cycle. we are trully blessed and lucky to have it every year. others before us by many years used to have this every loooong while.
it's not like there isn't enough festive Resurrection alhan or songs. there is!! so let's just stay on the track our Church have for us.
it's better when you are a deacon longing for specific hymns keda. like we take loong to learn pek ethoronos and when we say it, specially on good friday, we become sooooo happpy like we've never said it before; even though we just did it last year or even practiced it couple of hours ago to say it in church.
