I was wondering If anyone knows where i can find the words for the fraction that begins each paragraph with "O the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World" (not the one for the angels and the Hosts). I have a recording of Fr. Anastasi singing it, and I was wondering where i could find the words, or if anyone has any information about its origin. The first paragraph went something like:
"O You the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world, who suffered and died instead of the sinners of whom I am the first. What can I say to testify, “Father I have sinned against heaven, and before You, and I am no longer worthy to be called Your son. Make me one of your hired servants, and apprehend me with Your mercy.""
I copied that from the audio, but I want to see if it is present in any book, or if anyone has heard it in either english or arabic before.
Thanks, and pray for me

this is the fraction for Lent for the Lamb. it's kind of rare.....you'll not find this in much books. the original arabic is in an old kholagy and the translated english is in the liturgy book of the karma from Boston church. here is the text with some modifications: http://tasbeha.org/hymn_library/view/2387
