does anybody have an audio editing software in which i could repeat a specific spot in a hymn over and over again to learn it?

    Yes it's easy. U can use Audacity 1.2.6:
    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

    Open the file then select the part you want to play (like the picture).
    Or, save this part alone and play it in, e.g. Winamp with auto repeat option.
