attaching images

how does one attach images to a post. I tried to post some in the "pictures" thread and it didn't work. Suggestions? ???

Arkhangel,
it is fairly simple, when you get to the screen where you type your message, at the bottom, right above the post, preview, reset form buttons, there will be attached followed by a field. Click on browse, (note: txt,jpg,gif,pdf,mpg,png,doc,rtf,mp3,rm are the only allowable files) select the file and click open. when you post, it should attach the file in your message.

I tried that, but it didn't seem to work. Will give it another go though.
