Hi, I just wanted to open a new thread to discuss the topic, "Monasticism." I'm really interested in this topic since I am actually thinking about becoming a monk. Thank You and God Bless You!

I can start by adding something simple to get the conversation going :)
The three vows of monasticism are purity, obedience and poverty

In addition, monks are earthly angels or heavenly humans
