I did not find it too fast, well may be a bit fast, but I took liberty to slow it for your listening.
Note that I tweaked the pitch a little higher, for more clarity after the processing.

Yes marco. I found 2 mp3 (not the score or a midi file), music without vocals.
I've also added 2 sung versions because the music is more in Egyptian ME style than in modern style or using synths.

cultural note:
in english speaking countries we translate 'habibi' as 'mate' or 'friend' or even 'dear friend / dear brother'.
if we say 'dear' it usually means we are married to the person we are speaking to.

when i first started learning arabic, i was a bit shocked coz everyone kept calling me 'habibi', and i thought they were trying to get too personal. then i realised it doesn't mean the same as 'dear' or 'darling' in english.

for the english speaking people; if we want to translate 'darling' or 'dear' into arabic, we tend to use 'ya rohi' (lit. 'my soul') or 'ya (q)albi' (lit. 'my heart') or some similar very flowery term, like 'honey', 'light of my eyes' etc etc. so if an arabic speaking person calls you 'darling', don't get too excited/worried!

Hello,

Does anyone have the english lyrics?
They sung this in my church last sunday and I fell in love with if.
Doesn't it sound like "Sabani Hobik"?
Maybe that I why i love it but then again it could be only me.
