[quote author=Zoxsasi link=topic=10070.msg123299#msg123299 date=1291399987] I'm not entirely sure that's what happens. You'll find that a lot of youth end up going to Church because its the only place open in winter time where there are girls, food and some social life. Its not necessarily "for Christ" or for any sort of "spiritual" or "Christian" fellowship.
In fact, you end up with more problems most of the time.

Guys, I was joking completely, wasn't even a bit serious. I didn't even think of it in that way ;D
I live 3 blocks away from church.....i walk to church. Whenever there is a huge snow storm.........like 2-3 feet of snow on a SUNDAY, it's the best day for me. there wouldn't be much people......we only do one liturgy....and because there is really nothing to limit the liturgy duration, we make it a TRUE SUNDAY LITURGY....we take as long as we want. last time we prayed every single doxology in the psalmody book. Also we had an amazing St. Gregory's liturgy. I know it's very selfish of me....but i don't think it's a bad thing to get this once or twice a year.

You're very lucky indeed. I haven't had the opportunity lately to do anything at church except go for a quick mass on Sunday mornings, and then leave immediately afterwards for the campus. No tasbeha, 3asheya, nothing. I miss learning hymns SO bad :(
Ah well, in a weeks time, the Christmas holidays! Learn a hymn every day ;D
[quote author=copticuser20 link=topic=10070.msg123401#msg123401 date=1291427208] Christville.net is a forum that is for the youth that is not so popular
well because it's more for the youth of East Brunswick church....
If someone searches for the word TASBEHA on the iPhone App Store, you get nothing but islamic apps.
We really ought to put an alias - this is probably the single most important forum the Coptic orthodox Church has in English, and the name chosen really isn't helping.
